Canto A La Tierra
Self liner notes

1 st album of the September 2012 release.

Recorded in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain, produced by Pavel Urkiza , mixed mastering in Madrid, and collaborated with the Cuban group Más Que Son.

The mysterious connection with people is from this album, and the connection with Pavel is that my friend who lives in Lanzarote, who has been connected to Facebook for the first time in years, is connected to Más Que Son, and through them friends I'm connected to Pavel, there is a recording environment at the home of a member of Más Que Son , 7 sonora happened to be talking about recording at that time, and NANA and my friends were originally acquainted with each other, so I do not know In the meantime, the story went in that direction.

I was also surprised that Mr. Hero, who borrowed almost all of the percussion instruments, had seen the video I posted on Youtube many times and knew me before I met him.

Regarding the production, there were 4 songs newly written for the album, but the production period was short, and I wrote the lyrics until about a week before departure.

Not to mention the production, exchanging emails with Spain, interpreting locally, etc. were really difficult, but it was a great experience for 7 sonora and for myself.

Ven Amigo

Since there is no up-tempo song, I decided to add it in a hurry, and this song was written one week before departure.

It's a good song for the song completed by the rush work, and it's one of the songs that can't be missed at live performances.

This song is inspired by the god Elegua of Santeria, but this kind of song really takes a lot of effort to create a story.

Elegua is a god who opens the door and opens the way, so in this song, the character was pushed to the front according to the tone of the song, and the content was positive.

I have a quote from Silvio Rodriguez 's song in the Koro Kanta part, but I personally like that part.

Estoy Bien

The first song I wrote after the recording was decided.

Farewell to a loved one comes suddenly one day. At that time, I had an event that made me think that I should love my loved ones and deal with my loved ones in good faith so that I wouldn't regret it.

The main character of this song is also a person who has lost an important person and has been with his sadness for many years.

On a calm autumn afternoon, when it's been so long that I can remember the person without crying, I suddenly feel the person's presence in the breeze that wraps around my body, and I feel a sense of nostalgia.

The words that I thanked my loved one for caring for the hero, spoke to me in my heart, and said.

That is " Ya Estoy Bien ... "

I'm okay already. .. ..

Buscando un Aché

7 When I started writing lyrics with sonora , there was a lot of trial and error between NANA and myself.

Nowadays, the flow of production is generally decided, and the main method is to put the lyrics on the song written by NANA , but for this song, I used the material of the Japanese lyrics written by NANA in Spanish. It was a song that NANA tried to put a melody on it.

Más Que Son 's percussionist TOTO ( formerly Pancho Amat 's percussionist ) recorded this percussion in general, and Pavel and I both got excited about the percussion arrangement and tried it out and it's unforgettable. It's a song.

Noche Serena

More than 10 years ago a group of pops NANA Toyaso was doing together, the original song that NANA song written by Yaso has put the lyrics in Japanese.

The theme of the song was what she felt during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and when she played on 7 sonora , the theme was unchanged and the story was reconstructed and rewritten in Spanish.

The ordinary daily life that was taken away in an instant, the ordinary happiness.

Suffering from a feeling of emptiness, looking up at the sky for the value of one's existence and the reason for it, the sky of the new moon.

I pray to purify the great darkness that spreads in my heart with the purification energy of the new moon.

Time has passed, and the crescent moon over the sky I looked up at. When I see the moon floating like a smile, I find the answer I was looking for.

It is the rule to keep singing with pain and sadness in my heart.

Believe in yourself and the power of the song.

Mañana

Contrary to our expectations, it is one of the most popular songs in this work, and it is a song that cannot be missed live.

It's a song that has taken on various challenges in terms of songwriting, but overall it's a positive content.

I remember being very happy to hear that a Spanish customer liked it very much at a store I visited live.

In the latter half of the refrain, "Seguiré, Cantando Voy (Let's keep singing)", I put a passage of "Sing in the rain", but that is my favorite point.

In addition, Más Que Son 's tress playing the local recording engineer, and Yoriel 's tress gently blows the Cuban wind to the Brazilian songs.

Canto A La Tierra

This song was originally sung by NANA with Japanese lyrics, but it was played with a little arrangement for 7 sonora and with Spanish lyrics added.

This song and " Siempre Estarás " were the songs I asked Pavel to arrange, but I laughed unintentionally at the tremendous transformation.

Regarding these two songs, Pavel corrected the strange part of Spanish when arranging, but I heard Pavel singing the Spanish part of this song without modification on the demo sound source. At that time, I remember being very happy in many ways.

As a foreigner, I'm always worried about writing lyrics in a foreign language, but since this happened, I was a little confident in writing lyrics in Spanish, and it was one of those songs.
