No deadline, just the theme of the third album is " Bailable "! So two years ago when I started production.
Let's produce and announce sound and video at the same time! This work was released after a slight change of direction.
There are songs that follow the tradition of 7sonora, songs that present a new direction, and songs that return to the origin, and although the number of songs is as small as 4, each one is like a restaurant dish. We named it "A la carte" because it has a different type of finish.
The details of this recording and the episodes of each song are described in this liner notes and blog, so I hope you enjoy it with the songs.
As for the lyrics, this CD has only a Japanese translation due to space limitations, so I have prepared the lyrics in Spanish here.
As I wrote in each liner notes, all of this work is also cute children created by hand-salt.

This song was the most difficult song for the lyrics this time.
The content was completely different once, and although I started writing in Japanese, it became a crap, and it didn't come out at all. .. ..
I wonder if it was frustrating for more than two months. .. ..
One day when I was in agony like that, the word "Happy Birthday " of the verse came out suddenly.
Originally, this song had an image of lyrics in English and Japanese, or English and Spanish, so after the lyrics at the beginning came out, I got the feeling, and the agony until then seems to be a lie. In addition, it was a song that was completed in a few days.
Not to mention the tune, but the content of the lyrics was also a new type, so it was novel for me as well, and I felt a great sense of satisfaction after I finished writing the lyrics because of the long agony.
Mr. Morikawa of Acofero is a person who works on lyrics and composition, but it seems that there are many times when the lyrics with happy contents come out, and his mental state is in the opposite state.
Certainly, for the first time, I experienced that the period of such feelings continued for a long time, and my heart was pulled up by the lyrics I wrote.
That's why everyone writes happy songs! !! !! I really thought.

Anyway, this is the last song out of the four songs, but I feel that it has become a milestone for me and 7sonora.
In terms of arrangement, this song was the most difficult song.
I think the first impression I got when I first got the song was that I made this song Spanish.
Whether it's lyrics or arrangements, the first impression often determines the direction to some extent.
Although the concept of this time is bailabure, I wonder if I didn't want to focus on so-called sons and salsa.
Even Spanish is a samba, and even that music that dances belly dance is a samba, and of course samba is also a samba.
However, even though I decided on the direction, I had almost no knowledge of flamenco, and I listened to a lot of sound sources.
I talked to a senior percussionist who is doing flamenco.
So, I dig a little deeper into the tango that was closest to the image, and copy a number of songs such as chord progressions and characteristic phrases and compositions.
I changed the chords of the original song and made foot ring parts (about half of the parts I made).
However , if you move it too far, there is no point in doing it with 7sonora. .. ..
This song was made in that way, but compared to the original song, it's a completely different person.
Knock is a useless and fascinating makeover (laughs)
While giving off the scent of flamenco, it also retains the Cuban feel, and can be reproduced in a live performance with three people. .. ..
It's quite a number of ties, but I think I've cleared all of them!
I think this is like 7sonora in the sense that it inherits the atmosphere of the previous work , but how about it? ?? ??
Get a song to write the lyrics, okay! Let's get started! When it comes to that, I will ask once.
Once you listen to a song with a strong impact, a picture comes to mind.
If not, ask again. And I will ask again.
By repeating this process, I listen to it many times until a landscape or a picture appears to some extent.
Then, when a landscape or a picture comes to mind to some extent, I will replace it with words.
Simply put, that work is the work of writing lyrics for me.
This song has an unexpected image, and I got OK from NANA to confirm the direction and started writing.
The image is similar to the first " Estoy bien " in terms of seasons and colors, from late autumn to early winter.
The main character of this song was written with an acquaintance as a motif, but this time 70% is my imagination.
Even people who look like that may actually think and feel like this, but I think it looks like that because they accept all of them and live. Like.

This song depicts the conflict of the hero's heart.
It's been about 4 years since the songwriting was done since the previous work "Your Landscape".
Just when Nana wanted to send " Birthday " over here and move in, I really wanted to write it, so I finished this "Love letter " first and then started " Birthday ".
So are they both in letter format? ?? ??
No, it just happens.
The lyrics for " Birthday " can be made two months after "Love letter".
What I really wanted to write from before was the so-called Cuban trova.
The concept of the next album was not only to be a bailabure, but also to do it with only three people, so I wanted to write a song that would lead to each root.
I really wanted to write a choro song, but I couldn't make it in time because I had to record it before that, but I will write a choro song someday.
Trova and choro were born in the same era, and both are accompanied by a guitar, so this " Love letter " is exactly what we 7sonora 's "Cuba music and Brazilian music are combined with. It is in line with the original concept of "creating something unique from it."
The format of the song is Trova. The language is also Spanish. So, at first glance, it's closer to Cuba, but the guitar is so close to Brazil that the Cuban color isn't that strong.
I praise myself that it might have become such a song that could be used as a business card for 7sonora (laughs).

Of the four songs this time, it's the only song I've played in an actual live performance.
The next album I made was the first song that came out because I wanted to make it danceable.
Not only the lyrics, but also the arrangement was a difficult song.
When I got the song, I thought that this song was a so-called salsa format, but the clave feeling of the melody that was sent did not seem to fit, so I made a clave change on the way and made missing parts. Or change the order. .. ..
As a result, it became a fairly straightforward arrangement closer to Son.
The lyrics are the ones that have inherited the contents of the past, probably because it was the first song to be made.
Even if rationalism passes, my heart becomes dry, and even if I become too kind in consideration of others, my heart becomes cramped as a result, and everything is really balanced. .. ..
